Discontinued Support for Adtention

It's with deep regret that we inform you, our supposedly loyal customers, that we will no longer be supporting the Foresight spin-off, Adtention. Monthly subscriptions will be canceled, and the databases will be taken offline. No refunds.

We believed that since we had such success identifying music, we could leverage our existing technology to capture another sector. As it turns out, however, very few people are interested in using our iPhone app to identify the company and/or product being advertised in radio and TV commercials. We have our best marketing minds in a postmortem meeting to figure out why a follow-up to such a successful product could fail so miserably.




We know that some of you will be deeply distraught at the discontinuation of this ahead-of-its-time product, but the costs of upkeep versus our subscription profits (thank you, Mr. Granger and Ms. Westingtonshirevich) forces our hand. After all, we are grudgingly a company and we have to make a profit. Our investors (hereafter referred to as "suits") apparently won't accept hackeysack lessons and drum circle tickets.

So what can you expect from us now? After the necessary layoffs, we'll be back focusing on Foresight so we can bring you even more music you should be listening to instead of that garbage you send us. We'll also be increasing subscription rates (retroactively).
